Hello and welcome to the Nelson County Public Library's moving blog, "Library on the Move"! We've been waiting for the new building for so long and now it's finally here! Now comes the hard part: the MOVE. Patrons will play a huge part in helping us move, just by maxing out their library cards the week before we close, but there's a lot of things you all won't see, and this is your chance to get a sneak peek into what's going on behind the scenes.
Sometime last week, we got a shipment of empty crates from the movers so we could start packing.
Some of us have already started, like the children's department. They'll be moving into the new building first, so they get a head start.
Others have not started packing. We'd better get hopping!
Don't forget, come in next week to grab a handful of books and help us move!
